Leadership
Dr. Tewabe Kebede
Co-Founder & Board Chairman

Dr. Tewabe Girma Kebede is a board-certified nephrologist and internal medicine physician with over two decades of clinical experience in the United States. After earning his medical degree from the University of Gondar in Ethiopia, he completed research at Rush University in Chicago, his Internal Medicine Residency at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital, and his Nephrology Fellowship through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine–Jacobi Medical Center in New York. He has served in private nephrology practice, held medical directorships for outpatient and inpatient dialysis centers, and authored multiple peer-reviewed publications.
Driven by his philosophy of "providing care with compassion," Dr. Kebede founded Premier Medical Center with the vision of bringing world-class specialty healthcare to Ethiopia.
